Tom cooked our easter dinner, glazed ham with mashed potatoes, asparagus and salad. He made a gravy and was excellent! I’m not sure what size was the ham but sure its so yummy and excellent dinner indeed!

Lots of left over. In next few days is gonna be our lunch & dinner. Ham sandwich, ham soup, bean ham soup, what else? Maybe i can cook a ham fried rice, sounds good right now.

Thanks for the comments on my previous entry, really appreciate it. Hubby really have a second thoughts of retiring in Philippines. It’s the second time now they closed us and I am hoping will be last one

One day my mother was out and my dad was in charge. I was maybe 1 and a half years old.

Someone had given me a little ‘tea set’ as a gift and it was one of my favorite toys. Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news and my brother was playing nearby in the living room when I brought Daddy a little cup of ‘tea’, which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Mom came home. My Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was ‘just the cutest thing!’

My Mom waited, and sure enough, here I come down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy and she watches him drink it up, then says, ‘Did it ever occur to you that the only place that baby can reach to get water is the toilet?’

Anyway, last year Dec. ‘07 hubby went to our place [Camotes Island, Philippines] to have the place fence so we’ll have privacy because people/neighbor just in & out in our place and even invite them self to have picnic by the ocean. Don’t get me wrong everybody is welcome to our place but the thing is they abuse how good we are to them. We are not that bad because my dad gave them a path to walk to the beach but I guess is not enough for them.

When hubby got home, I called my parents to let them know that Tom’s home safe & sound. Before I hung up the phone they told me that they have been receiving all kind of threats for putting up the fence. Well- next time we know we are trapped!. I don’t know the whole story but they said someone owned the easement by the road. With typical pinoy … see what they did! Aren’t they lovely?

 The owner of the easement put up the fence so we can’t get out. And they want $900.00 a tiny2x space, man just plain BS! Do we have any choice? Nope-Zero- Nada! My sister has to beg to give them a little path so they can in & out. But the owner said just for temporary. Gosh sorry to say sometimes it is too much, really think that American are rich! [**_**] … ngutang ra sab tawon mi diri … ila pa man gani padak-an kay lagi american. Ako bana dili na lang mopuyo ngadto ay. grrrrrr… dili man ta na baligya ba kung walay mi sol2x … kay lagi among kinahanglanon mao gi-presyohan dayon!

I just can’t settle with one layout. hehehe. I’ve tried almost 10 layouts and i ended up with this simple layout. I re-create this layout the way I want it but still not look right. For instance the calendar dang, I just cannot make that calendar small. I did everything all the vodoo i can think of. hahaha.

Anyway, i pick this layout because is the simplest one though I had a heck of time searching where to change from color, background etc. I’m not use to work with wordpress but I guess i kinda pull it off. Here’s the original look.
